no, no; i think the real problem with our "democracy," is that we as americans actually think it's a real democracy where we have a say in our representatives' elections.
on a small scale, yes we do; we elect our local representatives, and i suppose to a degree even our national representatives. but do we elect our president? the deciders of what our laws actually mean? not in any way.
